Early Childhood Research and Innovation Endowment

Invest in Futures

The Early Childhood Research and Innovation Endowment has been established to ensure that our communities receive the highest returns and benefits from investments in young people for generations to come.

Proceeds from this endowment will be used to conduct research on:

  1. determinants of well-being from prenatal to young adulthood
  2. long-term impact and cost-effectiveness of policies, programs and practices
  3. innovation, development and implementation of evidence-based interventions.

Your support will provide a stable funding stream which will support on-going longitudinal research, dissemination, and outreach efforts that will benefit children, families, and communities for generations to come.

One of the cornerstones of the Early Childhood Research and Innovation Endowment will be to advance the sustainability of the Child Parent Center (CPC) and other evidence-based programs and practices to maximize the long term impact across generations. The foundations for this work were laid thru the 5-year, $16 million US Department of Education Investing in Innovations (i3) grant which HCRC received in 2012. This grant enabled HCRC to implement the Child Parent Center model of early intervention across five school districts in the upper Midwest, including urban, suburban, and rural settings.

Our goal is to secure $10 million in funding from individuals, corporations, and foundations to endow a stable funding stream which will support on-going longitudinal research, dissemination, and sustainability efforts that will benefit children, families, and communities for generations to come.
